About Trinity Holistic Psychiatry

Psychiatric care that honors the whole you.

Integrative. Evidence-based. Centered on women across California.

Our Story

Built for the gaps that conventional care leaves behind.

Too often, mental health care feels rushed, fragmented, and one-dimensional — appointments that address symptoms but not the person.

Trinity Holistic Psychiatry was founded to offer something different: a practice where women receive psychiatric care that is thorough, collaborative, and genuinely tailored to who they are.

Founded by Kimberly Lewis, PMHNP-BC, Trinity was built on the belief that effective care must address more than a diagnosis. It must account for the full complexity of a person’s life — their history, their body, their relationships, their inner world, and the season they are in. That is what holistic psychiatry means here: not a buzzword, but a clinical commitment to seeing and treating the whole person.

Trinity Holistic Psychiatry provides integrative psychiatric care for adults across California, with a primary focus on women navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, hormonal transitions, and the many challenges that come with simply carrying a lot. Telehealth appointments are available statewide.

Meet the Founder

Kimberly Lewis

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Founder, Trinity Holistic Psychiatry

I'm Kimberly Lewis, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Trinity Holistic Psychiatry.

My path to psychiatry has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences. While I was in nursing school, my father was diagnosed with a mental health condition. Watching someone I love navigate that experience showed me that mental health challenges affect not only the individual, but also the families and loved ones walking alongside them. It affirmed my desire to dedicate my career to helping others navigate those same challenges with compassion, understanding, and hope.

Years later, my perspective deepened in a way I never expected when I experienced my own mental health challenges. Experiencing the mental healthcare system as both a clinician and a patient gave me a perspective no textbook ever could. It showed me how fragmented and rushed mental healthcare can feel and how important it is to have a provider who truly listens and takes the time to understand your story.

That experience inspired me to create the kind of practice I felt was missing—one where people feel heard, understood, and supported, and where taking the time to truly understand each person is just as important as treating their symptoms.

For 17 years, I've had the privilege of caring for individuals through some of life's most challenging moments, and it is a responsibility I never take for granted. My hope is that every person who chooses Trinity Holistic Psychiatry feels supported, empowered, and hopeful that healing is possible.
